Children's and Family Ministry at Holy Trinity
Serving families with children elementary aged and younger

Holy Trinity and its members are dedicated to helping parents raise children in faith and giving families a nurturing community. We want kids (and their parents) to know how much God loves them and provide opportunities to share that love with the world.

In a world where we can spend more time on screens than with each other, Church provides an opportunity for kids and their families to experience genuine connections and make an impact in the real world. Kids involved with Church often have better mental health and a sense of their connection to the wider community. When children have friends who share their faith and values, it can help foster a sense of belonging and identity connected to what truly matters.

Faith Quest Wednesday Nights

Faith Quest - Midweek Fellowship and Faith Formation
Faith Quest is open to all ages.  We meet at 5:30pm on the first three Wednesdays of the month (during the school year) for a shared meal, connecting, experiential learning, and prayer. Dinner is provided and there are faith formation opportunities for ages 5 and up afterwards. This is a great way to meet and connect with other families.  Sign up to bring food here.

Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp
RTLC is one of our Lutheran Camps that is in southwest Colorado, near Salida.  It is nestled into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, looking over the Wet Mountain Valley.  The Rainbow Trail counselors will come to Holy Trinity this summer from 7/6-7/10 for VBS Day Camp. Day Camp is open to rising kindergarteners and older in the community.

Beginning in 2nd grade, kids can attend overnight camp.  Intro Campers begin their camping experience with three nights.  Junior, Junior High, and Senior High usually stay the week.  Holy Trinity believes that camping ministry makes a difference in the faith lives of children, so every kid from Holy Trinity gets a campership to help with the cost of camping.

Family Ministry
Other events for children and families have included camping trips, hiking adventures, a family retreat, mission projects, ice cream socials, and summer VBS day camp. These events help families to grow in faith and support each other.
